SADIE EDGINTON

Sadie Edginton (b.1985) is an artist, researcher and educator, with a focus on socially engaged practice.

Through working with other people, she creates projects where the process and methods for working together

are often just as important as what is created at the end. Taking the specific site and context of the project as

a starting point, allows the collaborators to explore their relationship to the environment, locality and to each

other. Sadie’s projects involved many agents and collaborators, and she often works with museums, galleries,

schools, charities and community organisations. Recent work included a memory garden for the Kingsley Centre,

working with the Royal Academy of Arts communities programme, the Plant Procession for The White Cross Street Party,

the RCA Social Practice Group and Culpeper Community Garden.
