Absent Tales
Museums tell many stories through their collections; what it is unclear is how many stories are absent. These tales may have been lost, forgotten, or ignored.
In this exhibition, MA Fine Art students from the Reading School of Art, consider the idea of absence for the Museum of English Rural Life. Inspired by the work of the museum and its collection they have produced work across a range of media exploring the idea of absence. Is it possible to rediscover what is missing and make it present?
