Come and work with the unique and significant archive of artist and film maker, and co-founder of the LUX Steve Dwoskin, at the University of Reading. The studentship provides an exciting opportunity for an artist, curator or writer to develop innovative research into the fields of experimental film, history of media arts, TV commissioning or disability aesthetics.
You will be either making art, curating or writing in response to the extensive archive recently acquired by the University of reading. The archive comprises working and personal correspondence, extensive background research for each of his films, production photographs, commissioning letters, posters, and leaflets amongst other documents and artefacts.
You will be supervised Dr. Rachel Garfield (Art) and either Prof Jonathan Bignell or Dr. Alison Butler (Film, Theatre and Television).
