Wuhan, where Yuan grew up as a child, nourishes one of the most interesting urban subcultural scenes in China. These dissonant voices rise from artists community, grassroots organizations, and the marginalized youths who find themselves completely lost in the urban machines after their college graduation.

For their first solo exhibition in Italy, Yuan presents a site-specific, cinematic installation in the abandoned Theatre of San Luca with Triangolo Gallery.
